Reseller Program Agreement

Note: This is a plain-language working agreement covering the mechanics of the Voyages of Light reseller program. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Voyages of Light may update it from time to time (see Section 10); material changes will be communicated to active resellers before they take effect.

This Agreement is between Voyages of Light ("we", "us", "the Company") and the individual registering as a reseller ("you", "the Reseller"). By checking the acceptance box during registration, you agree to the terms below, and your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp against your account.

1. The Program

Upon approval, you receive a unique referral code and referral link. Customers who book through your referral code are attributed to you, and your dashboard shows every referred booking, its status, and the commission it generates — traceable to a specific booking, never as an unexplained lump sum.

2. Commission

Commission is calculated as 25% of the planning-fee portion of a booking only — never on the customer's underlying accommodation, transport, or other third-party net costs, which we do not mark up. This rate is set by us and may be adjusted; the current rate is always shown on your dashboard.

3. When Commission Becomes Payable

A commission is created when a referred booking is paid, but only becomes payable once we mark that trip as Completed. If a booking is instead cancelled or refunded, the associated commission is voided and will not be paid. This protects both parties against paying out commission on trips that don't go ahead.

4. Payouts

Payouts are processed monthly, on the 10th.
Your eligible balance is the sum of commissions marked payable and not yet paid, as of the 9th of the month.
You request a withdrawal from your dashboard; we process it manually and mark it Paid with a reference once sent.
There is currently no minimum withdrawal amount, though we may introduce one in future — any change will be shown on your dashboard before it applies to a withdrawal request.
Payouts are sent to the bank details you provide and are responsible for keeping accurate in your dashboard.

5. Your Responsibilities

Represent Voyages of Light honestly — don't make promises, pricing claims, or guarantees on our behalf that aren't shown on our website or confirmed by our team.
Don't present yourself as an employee, agent with signing authority, or official spokesperson of Voyages of Light.
Comply with applicable advertising, consumer protection, and communications laws in how you promote your referral link.

6. Non-Circumvention

If you introduce a customer to Voyages of Light, you may not arrange for that customer to book or pay outside our platform for the purpose of avoiding commission attribution on that booking. Doing so is a breach of this Agreement and may result in suspension and forfeiture of pending commissions related to the circumvented booking.

7. Independent Contractor

You participate in this program as an independent contractor, not as an employee, partner, or joint venturer of Voyages of Light. You are responsible for any taxes owed on commission you earn under applicable law.

8. Suspension & Termination

Either party may end this arrangement at any time — you by ceasing to refer customers, us by suspending or closing your account (for example, for a breach of this Agreement, fraudulent referrals, or misuse of the referral link). Ending the arrangement does not cancel commissions that were already payable before that point; it does not entitle you to commission on bookings not yet marked Completed at that time.

9. Liability

We do not guarantee any minimum number of referrals, bookings, or earnings. Our liability to you under this Agreement is limited to unpaid, payable commission actually owed to you.

10. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement, the commission rate, payout schedule, or minimum withdrawal threshold from time to time. Where a change materially affects active resellers, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (by email or WhatsApp) before it takes effect.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

We collect and process personal data about you — your name, email, phone number, city/country, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), referral activity, and the bank account details you provide for payouts — in order to operate the reseller program: verifying your account, tracking referred bookings and commission, and paying you. This is handled in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27/2022).
